What a website for a coaching or healing business actually costs
In 2026, a website for a coaching or healing practice costs anywhere from about $200 a year (DIY on a site builder) to $2,000–$8,000 for a template-based designer build, to $10,000–$50,000+ for a custom agency build. The honest answer to "which one?" depends on one question: is the site a brochure, or is it the machine your business runs on?

How this market actually prices websites
Almost nobody in this niche publishes numbers, which is why pricing a website feels like asking how much a car costs and being handed a mood board. Here is the market as we actually see it, tier by tier, including the costs each tier hides.
01
DIY on a site builder: $150–$600 per year
Squarespace, Wix, Showit, or WordPress with a purchased theme. You pay the platform ($16–$50/month), a domain (~$15/year), and your own time, which is the real cost. Budget 30–80 hours for a first site you're proud of. What you get is a presence: pages, a contact form, maybe a booking link. What you don't get is strategy, copy, or any of the connective tissue that turns visitors into booked clients. Right choice when you're new, testing an offer, or genuinely enjoy building.
02
Template designer: $2,000–$8,000
A designer customizes a template to your brand: your colors, your photos, five to ten pages, usually delivered in two to six weeks. This is most of what's sold as "website design for healers and coaches." Done well, it looks beautiful and loads fine. The hidden cost: the copy is usually yours to write, the offer is assumed to already be clear, and the funnel, the path from stranger to client, typically isn't included at all. Many owners leave this tier with a lovely site and the same empty calendar.
03
Custom agency build: $10,000–$50,000+
Custom design, professional copywriting, development, and project management. At this tier the variable that moves price most is scope: does the engagement include offer strategy, email sequences, checkout, automations, and post-launch support, or just the site? Two $20,000 quotes can describe completely different products. Ask any agency to enumerate what ships at launch and who owns each account afterwards. The answers separate builders from decorators.
04
The full system
This is the tier we build in, and unlike most of this market we publish the number: our full build is $5,000. That is the website plus the offer strategy underneath it, the funnel behind it, the email sequences inside it, and the automations connecting booking, payment, follow-up, and delivery. The site is one part of a working machine. It costs more than a brochure because it replaces more than a brochure, typically a copywriter, a funnel builder, an automations person, and the months of coordination between them. What that looks like stage by stage is on our how it works page, and what it includes is on the build page.
Common questions
Why do quotes for the same website vary so wildly?
Because 'website' hides the real variable: how much of the business the build includes. A five-page brochure and a site with offer strategy, funnel, email sequences, and automations are different products that happen to share a homepage. Compare scope, not screenshots.
Is a cheap website ever the right call?
Yes, early. If you're still discovering what you sell and who buys it, a simple DIY site that states your offer and books a call is honest and sufficient. Pay for a real build when the offer is proven and the bottleneck is delivery, not demand.
What's the most common pricing mistake?
Counting only the sticker price. The expensive part of a cheap website is the year it quietly costs you: bookings that leak, follow-up that never sends, and a rebuild later at full price anyway.
What does Calibrated Ascension charge?
A full build is $5,000. That covers the site, the offer strategy, the funnel, the email sequences, the asset delivery paths, and the automations, stated up front because guessing games waste everyone's time. The Quarter, which adds a 12-week consulting retainer, is $8,000. Builds begin with an application and a readiness call, because we'd rather point you to a lighter level than sell you scope you can't feed yet. The Mastermind at $2,500 takes you from idea to launch in twelve weeks, and the Creator Coven is $47/month.

Know the number, and want the machine?
Builds start with an application and a readiness call, because a build accelerates an offer that already sells.
